TIME: 10:30 a.m.

LOCATION: The International Association of Machinists (IAM) Hall at 1511 Rollins Road, Burlingame, Ca. 

Our speaker will be Eveline Stock, M. D. of the University of California Medical Center at San Francisco, one of our nation's premier medical research facilities. This is Dr. Stock's second visit to address a RAFA meeting.

She will address two research studies:

1. Measuring the effects of second hand smoke and vascular aging with specific blood pressure and ultra sound testing on the arteries.  There are 3 different types of non-invasive tests that measure arterial stiffness, arterial blood volume and endothelial function. 
2. UCSF is in the process of gathering information on flight attendant reproductive health, i.e. pregnancy and miscarriages.
3. Dr. Stock will also discuss what recent studies have come out on flight attendant health as well. 

After the discussion and business meeting, we will follow our tradition of having a buffet lunch. The lunch is provided by RAFA members who contribute their favorite dishes, all gathered while we traveled the world, and even some dishes from home as well. If you choose to bring a dish to share, usually food for about 8 people is OK.
