RAFA London has been invited to participate in the local AFA Council 7 "Day of Action" and also to attend the local Council 7 meeting.

This is a great chance to see and catch up on what is going on with our active flying partners and to support them in their ongoing contract negotiations. Please RSVP (see below).

This month's Day of Action is scheduled for May 19, 2016.  At 1030 we will gather on the ground level of Terminal 2, at the base of the escalators and close to the smoking area.  Printed shirts will be provided for a single file, silent march that will be conducted at the departure and arrival levels.  We will then provide more visibility by boarding the tube and travelling to Northfields.  We will disembark there for our Local Meeting at Duffy's pub.  Lunch will be provided Don't forget your Oyster cards! 

The Local Meeting will be conducted to discuss the Advance Agenda items for the AFA-CWA Board of Directors meeting in Atlanta.

This worldwide Day of Action will demonstrate to Mr. Munoz and the entire company that we have waited LONG enough for a Joint Contract.  While others at the company have shared some very healthy compensation packages and additional contracts, it is high time for the Flight Attendants to have a truly Industry Leading Agreement!
