The Retired United Airlines Employee Association is holding it's yearly convention Oct 1-4, 2014 in San Diego. All United retirees are welcome to attend and RAFA is hosting a special meeting there just for flight attendants on Saturday Oct 4th.

RUAEA's best Convention ever will be held in America’s Finest City, San Diego. We will be staying at the beautiful Town and Country Resort Hotel which is centrally located in the heart of Mission Valley. It is next to River Walk Golf Course and Fashion Valley Mall with shopping and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The San Diego Trolley is our primary mass transit system which provides access to our city and outlying areas extending all the way to the Border.

There is so much to see here. Balboa Park is twelve hundred acres of park and seventeen museums, including the Air and Space Museum, the Zoo, the Old Globe Theatre and Spanish Village a beautiful walk through Art Galleries showing many local artists exhibiting in all mediums. You also have our busy, exciting waterfront to explore. Visit the USS Midway that has been with us since 2004 and has 29 restored aircrafts from WWII to Desert Storm. Just a short walk along the Embarcadero, our Maritime Museum awaits you with our tall ships, The Star of India and the California which is the tall ship of the state of California.
